How to Preserve Your Pumpkins

When you finally find the right amount of pumpkins for your porch and get them all set up and arranged around your mums, the last thing you want to worry about is your pumpkins rotting. There is a three-step process to help prevent this, and keep your pumpkins looking fresh all season long.

To do this you will need the following

  1. Dawn Dishwashing Liquid

  2. Bleach

  3. Clear Coat Spray Sealer

Start by washing your pumpkins off really well with dawn to remove any dirt or debris. Then fill up your sink with water and add 1 cup of bleach. Let your pumpkins soak for at least an hour. Next, dry them completely and apply your clear coat sealer. That's it! Now you are ready to decorate with those pumpkins and keep them looking fresh all season long!
